Forensic Consultation

We can provide objective, neuropsychological or psychological evaluations for forensic/legal purposes in civil contexts. Common civil issues that we can consult on include disability evaluations, work-related injury (e.g. associated with worker’s compensation claims), independent medical examinations, competence to make medical/financial decisions, fitness for duty evaluations, and personal injury cases involving neuropsychological or psychological concerns. We can provide independent, objective, expert opinion to attorneys, insurance companies, judges or private consultations.

Evaluations can examine the presence and extent of brain dysfunction for confirmed or suspected brain injuries or psychological disturbance, document the extent of any functional deficits or disabilities, identify probable causes of any observed deficits, report any limitations to competence or daily functioning, and/or discuss probable prognosis. A typical forensic neuropsychological/psychological evaluation includes a record review, interviews, neuropsychological or psychological test administration, and preparation of a clear and comprehensive integrated report that responds to questions posed.

A forensic evaluation cannot be billed to medical insurance companies. Please contact info@aaaneuropsychology.com to discuss forensic consultation cases and fees.
